At Rejuvenate, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our fitness app.
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and any profile details you provide. We also assign you a unique user identifier (userId) to manage your account and associate your data with your profile.
We collect information about your workouts, schedules, custom routines, exercise history, and fitness progress.
If you use the meal analysis feature, you may choose to take or upload photos of your meals. These photos, along with your userId, are processed to provide nutritional insights. You will be asked for your permission before any meal photo is shared.
We may collect technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, and usage analytics to improve app performance and user experience.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with trusted third-party service providers (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics) who help us operate the app, under strict confidentiality agreements. We may also disclose information if required by law.
All third-party service providers we work with are required to provide the same or equivalent level of privacy protection as described in this policy.
Rejuvenate integrates with Apple HealthKit to read your calorie data — specifically your active calories burned and resting energy — in order to display your total daily calorie expenditure within the app.
This data is used solely to provide you with an in-app view of your daily energy output. We do not share, sell, or transmit your HealthKit data to any third parties, including advertisers, analytics providers, or AI services. HealthKit data will never be used for advertising or other data-mining purposes.
Access to HealthKit requires your explicit permission. You can grant or revoke this permission at any time in your iPhone's Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices.
Rejuvenate uses OpenAI (the provider of ChatGPT / GPT-4) to power the meal analysis feature. When you choose to use this feature, the following data is transmitted to OpenAI:
Your permission is required before any data is sent to OpenAI. The app will prompt you for consent at the point of use. You may decline, in which case no data will be transmitted and the meal analysis feature will not be available.
OpenAI processes this data in accordance with their own privacy policy and data protection standards. OpenAI is contractually bound to maintain protections for your data that are equivalent to those described in this policy. You can review OpenAI's privacy practices at openai.com/privacy.
You can revoke your consent for AI meal analysis at any time by opening the app and navigating to Profile > Privacy and tapping Revoke next to AI Meal Analysis. Once revoked, no further data will be sent to OpenAI and the meal analysis feature will be disabled until you grant permission again.
We retain your data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services.
Images — including meal photos and shared completed routine images — are stored for 30 days and are automatically and permanently deleted after that period.
You may delete your account at any time directly in the app via Profile > Settings > Delete Account. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed from our systems. You may also request account deletion by contacting us at hello@rejuvenate-fitness.com.
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Rejuvenate is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
